disclaimer: there will be lots of photos in this post.
This is Miranda.
Today we started off a little late. Luc started wailing last night (I slept through it mostly) and kept Inma up when he went to her bed. He was kicking like crazy (sound familiar?). So we had a very late start on the hike. We planned on hiking to San Juan del Monte where we would see a cave. However when we started off, we weren't quite sure where we were going. We did make it to a statue of San Juan (pictures below). Then we took the car to see where we were supposed to go. We were headed in the right direction. But we had a while to go just to get to where you actually started the climb. Then you had a kilometer to go. Another day! After lunch we headed over to Sajazarra, a small, small pueblo just outside Miranda. My gosh it was breathtaking! It was all stone and beautifully old. If I ever had to live in a small town, that would be it. It was so... romantic. It had a church built in the 1100s and a castle probably built about the same time. I loved it. And took many pictures. Hopefully the beauty I saw transferred to the photos.
By the way, I kept my hiking clothes on the whole day, so... don't judge me about what I'm wearing. Kay? Kay.
We later went to Ocio to swim. Such a warm day here! Luc was adorable in his little pool. I played "tennis" with Mikal, Inma's...cousin's son. We played in the drive way and I had a misshapen racquet. I won 6-2 and he wants a rematch tomorrow.
More pictures!
